We Love What We Do!

"We LOVE what we do"! A guest, a prospect or client hears this phrase with sincerity from K&S Catering. Know that a catering business is not just a business, it can't be ran successfully without that love factor in every detail. "Did the satin napkins get folded, where are the tea jugs, make sure we have all the food, what time is it, do you have your clothes ironed, business cards in the utility box" and endless other questions play on when it's "Event Time". But the adrenaline of it is more than exciting when it all comes together and your client and their guests are so pleased with how your part aided in making their day even more memorable.

Cooking comes from the heart. When that mom or dad comes home from a hard days work, and doesn't sit down to rest rather she/he is opening the refrigerator to begin a meal for their family; now that's the beginning factor of the love spell. It's not until you begin to add your flavorful spices, grandma secret ingredients, fresh herbs and soul to the meal that the full cycle of love has been dispensed. When you cook in this style you alone acknowledges that your food is good and looks not for approval from any other. When you do receive these sentiments "Now this is good", "dad where did you learn to cook like this", "You can't find food like this anywhere" you smile to yourself and most likely will reply with "well... I love what I do".

When you love something you take time to hone it, you take care of it, you envision expansion, you pray about it and it becomes a true part of you! Not only is this love transitional in business and personal relationships it's truth. With love, we have all been caterers and begin many years ago catering to our family and friends. It's here that if you prayed for expansion that you further gain confidence to leap out on faith. We flashback, and thank our African American ancestors who founded the art of catering back in 1800's. If it had not been for their belief in this venture I'm uncertain as to where we would be, I'm just glad we have arrived. It's something that is to be said about doing what you love, just haven't found out the words to describe it and then after it's all said and done their lies a check in the bank for the thing you are so passionate about. Now this is not just love, it's favor! Thank you Oh God!
