I'm going to teach you how to make French Toast right at home. We know the world is up in the air with this pandemic & none of us are sure IF we are going back on lockdown or what the future holds. But, one thing is for certain, we ALL have to eat & IF we are at home why not learn something new or refresh our skills? Developing and honing a skill/talent is also in the air. Perspective is EVERYTHING! So, as you can see the skill I have just recently learned is French Toast & ironically it keeps with our theme of being in France, when I brought to you Cooking Omelettes with Jaya. 





French Toast, according to a collection of recipes from the early 5th century AD, the dish we now know as French toast existed as early as the age of the Roman Empire. In their style of French toast, called Pan Dulcis, Romans would soak bread in a milk & egg mixture, then fry it in oil or butter. It's really that simple. This recipe I'll be showing you is for 8 pieces of French toast. So, lets get you ready to cook along with us with the equipment you will need:


Equipment:

Mixing Bowl

Large Spoon

Aluminum Spatula 

Large Non-stick Sauce-pan 






Ingredients: 

1. Brown Sugar

2. White Sugar

3. 1 Egg

4. Bread

5. Ground Cinnamon

6. Cinnamon Sugar

7.Vanilla Extract

8. Olive oil or Butter
